Factor 75 B.V. (hereinafter: “Factor”) is committed to making its website and mobile application (hereinafter: the “application”) accessible in accordance with Title 5 of Book VIII of the Code of Economic Law.

This accessibility statement applies to:

1. General description of our services

Factor sells and delivers weekly ready-made meal boxes based on a flexible subscription. In addition, the subscription offers the option of ordering additional products (such as juices) on a weekly basis (hereinafter: the “products”). Factor offers users of its website and application access to order these products and related services in digital form (hereinafter: the “services”). Placing orders and managing customer accounts are intended for consumers residing in Belgium.

This website and application are intended to enable the use of these services, regardless of physical or technical limitations. This website and application are accessible via standard internet browsers without the need for additional tools.

2. Description of how we implement accessibility in our services

The main features offered are:

  • the presentation, selection, and ordering of products;
  • customer account management;
  • customer service via live chat or email.

Prior registration is required to place orders via our website or application and to access customer account management. Navigation is based on a standardized menu. All essential information, such as product names/descriptions, prices, and contact details, is also displayed in text form.

3. Level of compliance

Our website and application are not compliant. An external accessibility audit was conducted by the external party Incubeta. This audit included, among other things:

  • A critical analysis based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (hereinafter: “WCAG”) principles, version 2.2 at level AA;
  • An audit report.

The following measures have been taken to comply with WCAG principles version 2.2 at level AA:

  • Availability of textual alternatives for certain non-textual content;
  • Use of clear titles that clearly identify the content and/or purpose of the pages;
  • Restructuring of the website to improve readability and accessibility, particularly for users of compatible screen readers;
  • Optimization of the contrast ratio between page elements for better readability;
  • Compatibility with full keyboard navigation;
  • Improvement of form fields, with easily recognizable labels to facilitate the entry of information by users.

4. Market supervision by the Federal Public Service (FPS)

The responsibility for monitoring and enforcing compliance with the accessibility requirements for websites and applications in Belgium lies with the Federal Public Service (hereinafter: “FPS”) Economy.
